Understanding this service
A behavioral plan brings structure to the conversation about support. It considers what the person experiences during everyday routines and identifies priorities that can guide the work of the responsible professional.
This service is distinct from Behavior Assistant support. The analysis and plan guide implementation; the individual and those involved in their care need a clear understanding of the goals and responsibilities.
What to discuss with our team
- The needs and priorities prompting the enquiry
- Existing evaluations or behavioral plans, if applicable
- The professional responsible for planning and follow-up
- Where support is needed and how caregivers are involved
Before getting started
Start with a conversation about the individual’s priorities and the service of interest. Our team can explain what information is needed to review the request. Program eligibility and any required service authorization are separate from NRL’s own review.

How is this different from Behavior Assistant?
Behavior Analysis focuses on evaluation and the plan. Behavior Assistant supports implementing that plan under the appropriate professional direction.
Does an enquiry guarantee access?
No. Contact the office to discuss availability and the review process. Program eligibility and any required authorization must also be confirmed.
What should I bring to the first conversation?
Begin with the service of interest and the person’s main priorities. Ask the office how any existing documents should be provided securely.
